Four things to look for on the label: how many milligrams of resveratrol the daily dose provides and from which extract (here, 294 mg from a Polygonum cuspidatum extract standardised at 98%); which NAD+ precursor it carries and whether it is authorised in Europe with a defined maximum dose (nicotinamide riboside is; NMN, today, is not); what accompanies the resveratrol (here, 145.5 mg of berberine, 142.5 mg of quercetin, 72 mg of hyaluronic acid, vitamin C at 97% of the reference intake and 4.75 mg of piperine); and how many excipients there are (here, one: acacia fibre). No: the maximum daily dose of nicotinamide riboside chloride authorised for adults is 300 mg; NR NAD+ 300 mg already covers it entirely and PRO NAD+ NR Advanced Edition provides 100 mg, so adding them would exceed it. The choice depends on what you are after: if you want the precursor alone at the maximum dose, the single-ingredient product is your option; if you want the precursor accompanied by 294 mg of resveratrol, berberine, quercetin, vitamin C, hyaluronic acid and piperine in the same intake, this edition is designed for that.
The central molecule changes: PRO NAD+ NR Advanced Edition uses nicotinamide riboside (100 mg of the chloride a day, a form of vitamin B3 that is an NAD+ precursor) where the PRO NAD+ formula with NADH uses NADH. It also adds piperine (4.75 mg a day) and takes vitamin C up to 97% of the daily reference intake. Resveratrol, berberine and quercetin stay at the same doses. They are two different products from the same family, and the NADH formula remains on sale through physical retail outlets.
